Yard Decorations for Fall - Free Crafty Yard Decorations For Fall

Craft projects can be any size - from tiny to huge. When I came across these great ideas for yard decorations for fall, I had to share them with you, my fellow crafters. Please enjoy and use (or modify) the following ideas of yard decorations for fall. With a little creativity, you'll have a harvest friendly yard.

Fall Yard Decoration - An Autumn Collage

This is a fun craft to get the whole family involved in crafting your front lawn for the fall. Materials you will need to create your autumn yard collage include hay bales, pumpkins (all sizes), scarecrows, witches, cornucopias, gourds etc. Anything related to fall will look great with this collage. Stack your hay bales to create a backdrop. Next, place a huge scarecrow (or witch - or fall icon of your choice) on the center of the stack. Then add other complimentary fall accessories like cornucopias, corn stacks, ghosts, etc. Before you know it, your yard will be an autumn collage.

Fall Yard Decoration - The Haunted Tree

Making a haunted tree is another fun craft activity for the whole family. It's perfect to make your haunted tree after raking leaves (you can use the leaves in your ghosts!) It's easy to make a haunted tree, simply pick the biggest, best tree in your front yard (make sure it has good limbs). Next, take small white trash bags and stuff the top half with leaves from your yard. Twist and tie the bag into a knot, or use a twist-tie to close the end where the leaves stop. Turn upside down and you have a ghost! Make as many of these ghosts as you wish, then use string or twine to tie them to tree limbs. As the fall winds blow, your ghosts will haunt your tree. Very fun!
